StreamSieve reads every report about a breaking event and keeps only what changes the state of the world: who said what, who confirms it, what is disputed, and what changed since the last look. Everything else is counted as noise and shown beside the event, never mixed into it.
Open the globeThis is a frozen snapshot, not a live feed. The same evidence always builds the same state, byte for byte, and the state digest above names it. Rebuild it from the same snapshot and you get the same digest.
Each report is fetched from its feed, hashed and kept with its source link. Rules pull claims out of the headline and snippet. A claim moves from OBSERVED to SUPPORTED to CONFIRMED only when independent sources back it; a party's own statement never confirms a claim about that party. When sources disagree the claim is marked DISPUTED and both sides stay visible. Reposts, roundups and copies of a story already counted add no new state, and they are measured as noise.
Every number on the globe drills down to the claims behind it, and every claim drills down to the original report, its publisher and its content hash.
Scout answers questions from the computed state only. It makes no model calls and does not write anything back. A question that carries an instruction is flagged and ignored. On this public edition Scout answers a fixed list of questions, shown under the question box; the full Scout runs on the local build.
This is version 0.1. It covers the event families it has rules for, its clustering is rule based and misses some reports that belong to two events, and the snapshot shows the history the feeds carried at one retrieval. Headlines and short snippets belong to their publishers; follow the source link on any report to read the original.
